Aim and Purpose
This database has been sponsored by the UK offshore oil and gas industry. The purpose of the Incident Alerts Database (previously known as SADIE - Safety Alert Database and Information Exchange) is to facilitate the sharing of safety information and improve the lateral learning across the industry. The database is NOT intended to be a comprehensive database of incidents that have occurred in the industry and is not aimed at providing statistical information.

How to list or search Incident Alerts
The listing of all alerts can be filtered either by consequence (potential or actual) or cause. To perform a search of only Incident Alerts (as opposed to the complete website), use the Search Incidents page.
