Asset Integrity

Maintaining hardware to be safe, reliable and efficient is not only essential to manage the major accidents hazards the industry faces but it also plays a vital part in creating a physical environment people can be proud to work in. Creating this environment is one of the key strategies we believe are required to create an incident free workplace.

Step Change in Safety workshops will address senior managers' understanding of major hazard control loop (KP3 finding). Recognise Hazards and Reduce Risk Personal Ownership for Safety Asset Integrity Leadership, Communication and Co-operation

An "Asset Integrity Workshop" is to be delivered to all production operation duty holders and other key contracting companies starting in April 2008.

The workshop will be led by a Step Change Leadership Team (SCLT) member and provide a 1 day interactive work session for MDs and direct reports to ensure a good understanding of safety cases, verification of safety critical elements, associated performance standards, Step Change toolkits, guidance etc.
